My hot-rodding days started when I was 12 years old, helping my uncle stuff a small block Chevy into a Jeep CJ5. He was a member of the "Strokers" car club in Saginaw, Michigan. A great place to be from if you were into cars.
I've had many cars since my first Ford, a 1965 Custom 500, 4-door boat anchor when
I was 17, but a couple of standouts remain fondly stuck in my memory. A
'69 RS/SS 4 speed Camaro that was as much fun to drive as my current ride, and
the '66 Comet that you see pictured on the right.
Today, 20 years of marriage and two kids later, I finally decided that it
was time to begin my mid-life crisis in earnest, and pick up something with some
nuts and that would be worth what little time I could give it now that my kids
are nearly grown and I actually had a few extra bucks to throw under the hood.
Welcome to Windveil GT, the site devoted to my Mustang and Mustang owners
near and far.
